Isn't that how it always happens?

I've had to open tubes of caulk and foam board glue to literally, seal up the last 4". Somehow can never just have a little left in a tube that I don't feel guilty for throwing away. Oh no, have to plug the nozzle with a screw and hope it doesn't all harden before the next time I need it.

I'm packing up the old RV, we're headed up to Well Seasoned 's neck of the woods. I hope he has a big driveway.
After a month or so we may head over to Stinny's for the summer.

Seriously, we are headed up to the White Mountains in NH. Looks like a lot of great things to do up there.

No problem and no offense taken. Like I said, everyone makes that mistake. My user name doesn't denote a female and the bike avatar doesn't help either. Add all the home projects I post about, and the assumption is that I'm male until actually told otherwise.

    Good luck!

Slept in until 6:30 then have been running since then....well ok maybe a good jog anyway.

Landfill with the old sheetrock and wood from the mini- kitchen remodel, tanked up my brides car after a stop at OReillys. Off to work at the office for an hour, before doing banking and dropping off a payment for the dishwasher (3 months no interest...sweet) and a stop at the lumber yard for material for a fence project.

    Break time!

Oh...forgot the run for beer. New Leinie Anniversary beer. They teamed up with German brewer Hof Brau.

The front end is ok, but the finish is very good. Not bad at all.

No Dice on house water yet. Blew out the line from the cistern w air compressor, I really thought that would do it, nope. Waiting for WWW to get back from town with new check valve. He's bringing home more drinking water and baby wipes:rofl:

Guessing from the water level in the aquarium we ran several gal through trying to prime the pump and I realized the check valve was upside down :headbang: Did another few gallons more with the check valve right side up with no dice. Swing check valve appears to be ok, but this is the last thing we can think of. All I can figure is the all the priming water going through the pump is going back down the cistern line.

Fingers crossed on the last idea we have will work all the below are good.

    Cistern line clear (backflush successful)
    400 gal in cistern
Line from cistern to pump is ~10'
    New jet pump
Soon to be new check valve

    Anything I am missing?

"Starting" to smell?, umm Stinny said he could smell from Maine yesterday   That said, my leg muscles are noodles from crouching in the bunker for 2.5 days. Going to rest just long enough with some coffee but before I stiffen up, then bathe. Newly laid grass sod getting some H20 during my rest break.

    WOOOOOO!!:banana::dancer::dex:

Ooops, guess you are west of him, sorry you got the odor first :emb: LOLOL

Got up to 90* today. At least the humidity was reasonable though. Glad I have plenty of indoor projects to get me through the summer. I should have thought ahead and bought a window AC unit for the shop though. I'm sure they are in high demand right now.
