Hey everyone....watch the final days of two beautiful new American bald eagles by going to "hanover eagle cam"and click the top choice.....mom just came flying in with a fish she ripped to shreds and fed the brood...high in an oak tree in Hanover, Pennsylvania.....wow!
I work just a few short minutes away! I just had my second (very) local eagle spotting. It was trying to eat from a deer carcass along the road I was traveling. I saw it, slowed down but when it saw me, it flew in a big loop (wanting to come back), then landed in a tree beside the road. I drove the car up real slow and stopped beside it as we watched for a few minutes. We were close enough to see it's eye's checking us out! It was AWESOME! And it was close enough to these eagles that it very well could have been one. The cell phone pic was horrible. Wish I would have had a better camera. Let me find it...
