    I passed a truck and tandem axle trailer loaded like that on the NY thruway, many years ago, the sad part was that one of the trailer tires had caught on fire and they were scrambling to heave as much hay into the ditch as possible to save it

    It actually reminds me of one time we super loaded a wagon. I got on top and kept stacking. We had to haul that wagon home over a mile and lift a few wires on the way. Amazingly, we made it but it was not fun getting down off that load... Amazing too that we did not have any flat tires but they were a bit warm to say the least.
