Funny, a few years ago, our daughter in her early 20's pulled in the lane (in her Jeep), she had on a song from the Filmore East album. That silly thing gave me all kinds of pride. Kinda strange to have 40 something year old music sound better each time you hear it.

Not to sound like an old fart, but there hasn't been a lot of good music in the last 20 years.

Not that I've found either. I used to discover some good stuff on XM, but it's seems lately like their almost just doing play lists. What I have liked and bought, I'm sure it wont have a 40 year "shelf life". Maybe it an age/time - in/of your life thing:eek:
Is it too early in the evening for Mountain Jam?

Hey there ole fart... I resemble that remark...... and, you're right. Not much good commercially successful music that will stand the test of time lately. And, any great stuff that is recorded... we're not likely to ever hear it because the music biz has dissolved so much. When you have literally millions of musicians now able to be on the same digital stage... it's hard to stand out.
