Watching the Walking Dead, trying to identify trees as they walk through the woods.

Having a cold drink before bed and planning what work to get done tomorrow. I need to get out and get some posted signs up on the property. Hopefully it will not be raining.

I used to do underwater tree identification up in Rockport, MA while scuba diving. If you identify a maple leaf in a lobster's claws, you can be pretty damm sure that there's one near the beach, because he certainly didn't pick it in his front yard..

Ha ha. No, uses regular old two stroke mix, I fill it from the same can as the saw and trimmer.

A lot cheaper than the little planes that use model airplane fuel (methanol mix) that stuff is running close to $30 a gallon now :(

We went for the first of our preschool tours this week at the Lutheran church up the street. Nice place and the kids liked it. Reasonable tuition to boot.

When the kids napped I decided to bite the bullet and work on annual performance evaluations for the office... Its that time of year for us, and I've got my self review, manager review, half dozen peer reviews and even more employee reviews to do. Hate doing it at home but they are due before my vacation is up.

Tomorrow Im tagging along for the kids toddler gym class, swing by the airfield a bit on the way back with the heli, and then either the fall car waxing or yardwork/fence painting after lunch.

    Vacation half over:mad:

Enjoy some of that time. You need to while you can. Pic of that heli when you go?

Well it turned out we didn't go. Deal was to bring the kids along after class for a little while, but it was cold this morning and my wife changed her mind and didn't want to.

Dug up a couple pics though. Its a small electric powered job. I'd like to get a big gasoline heli now but those cost at least 2-3 big ones and that's hard to justify.

Nice Jeremy. That looks like fun to fly. I think I will get something a little better than the little one that my son has. He likes flying it but it runs out of power to quickly. So he got tired of it pretty fast. Just one of those cheap toys at Wal Fart.

Finally got the splitter back, after dark tonight. So I installed some flood light at Mom and Dad's and took care of business. Starting to think that the first big log I got into wasn't red elm after all-- smells like menthol.
