Actually it does get better! I bought all this firewood (was supposed to be 2 cords) for $400.00 and it is mostly oak and almost seasoned.. I stacked all this today and my back is very sore but man what a great deal!! This is 6 pallets and it looks like they will be full
To be honest I'd rather just pay $400.00 as this is loads of work and I have so many other things to do..
$200.00 per cord is good deal around here Terry.. Been paying this for past 3-4 years.. Worth it in my opinion..
From the looks of the stump log, that tree was on it's way out anyway. They do get to a size where it's just not fun anymore (without several "hydraulic" helpers)
The wood guy told me he gets the wood for free from tree companies and dropped at his lot.. He processes it and sells for $200.00 per cord.. Said he sold 400 cords last year! WOW! He delivers 2 cords at a time..
Take that 555 and go for the Maple take your time noddle if necessary there is a lot of nice firewood in those large rounds.
Take your time, pick it at it a little when you have the time. That tree isn't going anywhere on its own.
My son came home from the hospital today so that's good Still not sure what he has.. Always something! Things could always be worse..
