Just like my other two saws, this one was a nearly new saw for cheap at the depot. Looks like they cut one tree with it, then returned it. No scratches or wear to be found. I couldn't walk away as it was 1/3 the new price. Echo CS400.
I got my CS590 new in the box for $100 off, as the store was no longer carrying the model. I also got my CS490 for more than $100 off, seems like it was returned to a store that didn't sell them yet, so they marked it way down. My biggest regret is the other CS590 that was a new looking return sitting next to my new in the box 590 for the same price. I didn't realize what a great deal that was.
Echo makes a great saw, very dependable machines. For some reason the retail price on them is very high, in the area i live. Like $465 for the 590 and 400 for the cs 450.
