Haven't had a fire in the WS in a few days. Lit off the pellet stove yesterday morning, leaving everything cold for now. Cool, rain, and wind will change that though.
Fire outside yesterday , Doesn't look like much wood burnin will going on inside , going to hit 80 a couple days then back down to 70
Done till fall with inside fires, cleared the remainder of the wood off the patio and hosed it. Time to get the patio table and chairs out. Have to clean the stove out and get a can of damp rid in place. Any more heat that may be needed will have to be the Nat, gas boiler. Still have 1 1/2 cords to split and stack.
We spent he whole day watching a minor lacrosse tournament in some cool/wet weather so tonight we'll have a fire in the Liberty. It was 53 outside today so the house cooled off some from the gain yesterday.
Chit ton of Orange yellow and green headed this way. House still 67° no fire, but im sure tomorrow we'll have one
I ended up running the pellet stove overnight (still going...I think) we had 47 this morning with rain so it looks like a day off.
Yup, that's why I'm here at 9:30 am Took Mom out to dinner last night, no projects in the shop right now so today looks like a total slacker day with the rain. I wish they still had Looney Tunes" on tv in the morning.
With the weather turning warmer this week, I decided to have a fire in the Liberty so we can burn some of the wood we brought in.
.....until a friend called, a pregnant sow got out. Got her back in but she's going to piglet any time now and was not happy in her pen, broke it all to he!! The livestock trailer is now her maternity ward . Now back to my "slacker" mode.
High of 48f and low of 28f back at Seans house but Im on Vancouver island visiting family so I dont think my wife will make a fire today. Its very green here with lots of flowers! Sure is a switch from my region in the Rockies where spring seems to have just started to show so there is lots of brown there.
Just popped in the pellet stove, house is cool. Rain continues, a little heavier now, but east of us, they're getting dumped on.
Guess I won't include a pic of what it looks like outside 'roun herah.... Oh heck, who am I kidding..... Looking southeast from the back deck at neighbahs back yard..... little breezy, but thermo in the shade on back porch say ~73° F.... Heading to mid 80's by Wednesday
Last sentence of my post above included that.... See now, you are one of them 3 Stooges moderators for sure!
Ill admit that. Just woke up from a nap. Need to focus for a midnight porcupine kill. Damm thing keeps coming back eating the deck! We've been trying to stain for a month, delayed constantly from rain, finally got the second to last panels done, and it came back a second time to destroy it.
