I'll start with one I did a while back.
works well for those of us who've lost some of our perfect vision :)

It was hard for me to see the chain adjustment screw slot.
I painted the top edge white,
now I can see the black screw driver slot much easier.

Needs repainted now & then, just touched it up , slot is easy to see now .

This is the side mounted adj screw, but it work good on my old Husqy 61 front screw type too,

I use coffee creamer containers to carry gas and oil to field when cutting firewood. Openings are large and easy to fill and screw on tops have nice built in pouring spouts and flip caps cover entire top keeping spout clean. They are see through which allows you to see if dirt or sawdust has gotten into fuel or oil. Each hold about two saw fills of gas or several fills of oil. Three will fit nicely in an ice cream bucket which keeps them upright and not rolling around on floor of tractor or pickup bed. Sharpie marker works well for labeling them. image.jpg image.jpg

    Good idea

I need to do like you for the gas & use a small bottle,
probably spill less than I do with the "No Spill" jugs.

For oil, I use a dish soap bottle for the small saw
& a gallon jug with a drilled out lid with a hose & wooden plug .
