Opening day was Saturday for walleye, I would imagine there's a chit load of everything flowing down the St.Lawrence River in the area I use to fish on opening day.

Pallet Pete I am so sorry to hear that. WWW had his great grandfathers flyrod/reel AND FULL tackle box that he used most of his life. Stayed on the lake a bit late one night and it was already dark, had his gear leaning on the ol Blazer to put it, said goodbye to freind and left without it. He returned ~20 minutes later. All of it gone.

I dont understand how somebody can steal / take what isn't theirs. I saved for a LONG time to buy that set and in todays market thats easily a $300 rod and reel set but that doesnt tick me off as much as loosing the lures that a member made for me. It just chaps my @$$ that people are that low. In WWW case saving up is one thing but getting something handed down has just that much more meaning.

A fly rod is something that only the fisher can pick its all feel and appearance and if somebody fishes then they know that and thats what makes the theft that much worse.

I'll look to see if they produce.... I was under the impression that these run underground similar to day lilies?

O I didnt know that! We have them pop up in ditches around here. Some politician made a law that you cant pick flowers along the road or you face fines and possible jail time. I of course dont give a rats behind:rofl:  I wasnt aware he owned the wildflowers around us!

Ya, its against the law to spread cremation remains on federal land here. We will be up on a gorgeous mountain pass next month to put Grandma to rest. Yup.
