    IMG_3601.JPG IMG_3600.JPG Hej hej all,

Got some nice free wood today, the electric company took a lot of trees down around al the power lines.
I asked them if i can have the wood, they said u can have it all. Its a nice job getting all the wood for the next couple of weeks!

    Have a nice day all!

Good score. What do you burn most of the time? I see the birch. What kind of spruce is that?

    Nice!

I saw a place where the power company had hired someone to clear the lines this past summer and it is STILL loaded with prime hardwood (ash, maple, oak, birch) just laying there and nobody is taking it!!!

Sometimes it hurts to be a hoarder!!

The power company has really been working some serious operations in the lines nearby. I saw a guy on Craigslist yesterday with a picture of about maybe 5 cord of log length wood that was right next to the powerlines. Asking price? $3500

Here , the logs from wood like that
is hauled to a yard, then
    Sold as personal use only.
    $20 or $25 per cord
