Thanks Pete. A lot of time and effort into it. Still some work to do to it as the money and time comes in.

I screwed up there Pete. Try this. Somebody went down in a crash about an hour from here.

Spring cleaning was going on at that precise moment. I had a phone call, then straighteded up the kicker stove- cleaned ashes, etc- dumped the ashes out in the ditch, cleaned out cordless drill bag for work. She was barnstorming the kitchen (cleaning) so I guess thats next on the list for me not to use!

Anyway, we both ended up missing it! Two nights in a row.....gonna have to do something about that so Pat and Vanna don't try getting ahold of us to see if we're alright!

The campground where I scrounge most of my wood has started their spring cleanup, they put the logs out by the road free for the taking, I pass by there on my way home from work. It's looks to be good weather today...do I take the bike and enjoy the ride and miss a potential scrounge, or take the truck and maybe get some wood on the way home?:sherlock:

    You already know the answer!
You wouldn't enjoy the ride that much knowing you stand a chance to lose out on the wood, anyway!
    :salute:

Or just invite those Canadians back and let them do it!

Another 2.5" of rain overnight. Calling for 2" more today and tonight. Standing water everywhere.

Supposed to get back into the 30's over the weekend with patchy frost.

Glad I didn't plant the garden yet.

By the time I get on here in the mornings, I feel like I should be saying Good Afternoon to you all. I was just looking at the times people start posting and I feel really behind. Anyway, got my walk in without rain so that was good. My garden needs weeding but it is looking pretty. Tulips and pansies are in full bloom. Weeds are doing well. With this weather we've been having and the fence we put up around the roses, they are looking pretty healthy. I should be getting blooms pretty soon and the lilac is ready to burst. Oh, campinspecter has made pancakes so I have to go.
