    While unplugging that culvert this morning I was attacked by black flies and quickly decided I would wait for another day for splitting wood. The ground is very soft from the rain anyway.

    So, I went into town and went walking on the paved trail along the river. After that I went and picked up some pallets from a local store. Was able to get some decent ones. I will increase the size of my firewood privacy fence this year for next year's season. I set them in a solid place on the stone and will stay off the wet road back to the stacking location.

    I then went and had lunch with my Dad and Sister.

    Leadership training all day:headbang::headbang:

    I found a pile of logs up for grabs at a local campground on the way home:thumbs: and took a truck full home then decided to go back with the trailer for another load, there was a nice young couple there looking for a campsite, the campground isnt open yet, nothing is open yet so i invited them to camp in my backyard for the night.

    Here are the Hounds inspecting the logs for squirrels.

    I worked some more on the kitchen project before and after work today. Had to finish framing and hanging drywall on the inside of the alcove where the fridge is going as my FIL volunteered to tape and texture for us tomorrow (yes!) so my bride can paint this weekend.

    [IMG]

    I ordered the dishwasher today, and it should be in by Monday. Which means I need to move the fridge Saturday so I can run plumbing for the dishwasher in the fridge's old spot.

    Found out the local store offers free financing for 90 days and free installation of new appliances and they take away old ones!

    Once the fridge gets moved we can work on the doorway and the rest of the wall. Not as much pressure to get that done right away. :)
