Cut maple and torched brush

    Friday I finally cut a maple that has been down about a year. I'm not sure what type of maple but it is heavy and solid.

    There are about 35 rounds that need split.

    Saturday morning my dad and I decided to burn the brush pile. It was soaking wet so we figured it was safe to light.

    My dad is 84. This is him relaxing.

    The final pic is my ferocious feline going for a ride in the truck as I load and unload gear from cutting and burning.
