Very windy here today straight out of the south but temperatures are already beginning to fall not very far from us. I also see some snow and ice in WI and the UP of MI. Hope it stays there too.

If this wind had came during the GTG the only thing that would have been done would have been to buck up the logs we had out already and then a lot of chatting and perhaps a bit of imbibing.

It is supposed to turn colder so I might be able to either cut or stack more wood if it doesn't rain too much. However, rain in the forecast for almost the next whole week. We really do not need this at all...:faint:

Right where I want to be.
Except for the wind, seeing the same here.
That weather is a little strange, going almost perfectly northbound along the Wisconsin side of the lake. You might get some of that band coming up from south of the Mi border.

I just looked and Ironwood is reporting 27 degrees! No doubt getting or got some of that snow.

Snowed this morning while I was taking the garbage cans out. ended up getting a dusting on the pine trees in the back yard. Only 35 degrees now. Had a fire in the Valcourt last night probably again tonight. Just takes the chill off for momma. And when momma's happy everybody is happy.

We ended up with 4" so far today. The ice wasn't that bad but it was here for only a short while.

Yes, the plows hit the highways today!
