Didn't want that bugger falling on my stacks. That bugger was stuck up in dar good, had to do some cranking on the Rope puller and pull it pretty far before it came out. Not a lot of wood but it won't fall on my head now. Went tree hunting on the neighbors lot after that, I'll post some pics of that mess in another thread. Wind storm did a job, lots of widow-makers
That thing was not going to come down on its own but I didn't know that. I was thinking about whacking it off in sections but it would have not come down anyway like that
Nice work, I've got one too, right above where i wanted to start building a pole barn, but the ol' lady has better ideas for my time over the next 6 months, so got put off until next year when I'm that much older and get that much sorer!
Look at this way, if you take down a tree and cut the power to the neighborhood. You get to meet those folks you've never met before. Of course, they won't be so happy to meet you.
