Took a quick trip to Lincoln for some dinner and decided to go up the kancamangus (rt112) to eat and watch the sunset. Little did we know that the aurora borealus would be strong and met a kind and knowledgeable fellow who had a bunch on cameras setup, along with a ton of computer stuff in his car for recording. We only stayed until 9, he was staying all night to record. We didn't see anything, but again it was early.
Ahh, that's a beautiful road, 112. I've ridden my motorcycle up and down that road a few times. Nice sunset pics!
Thanks- snow still piled high Absolutely gorgeous! No moose unfortunately. Thanks...... "sweller" i like that!
After a weekend at Backwoods Savage's excellent home and all that super delish food, I felt like a sweller fella, so I just ran with it....
I need to get back up there, been over a year since we have stayed at my inlaws weekend house in Conway. Back when I was into photography I used to love to get out early and just drive in random directions to find great photo opps at sunrise. Life has just been to busy this past year, I need to make it a point to spend a week up there after the black flies die off.
You've got a place to stay should you decide to come up! The black flies haven't started yet. Won't be long......
Very nice WS! I ran through large gatherings of black flies while running today. They were definitely not regular flies. Little black, flying, annoying, biting, bastages they were!
