Picked up a roll of rubber roofing on sale at Menards to try as a cover. Seems to work pretty good. 60 ft. @ 3 ft. wide. Enough to cover about 8 face cords.
How much did you pick that up for if you don't mind me asking? I just covered 3 of my racks with some left over rubber roofing membrane and I think it will hold up quite well.
Rubber roofing is great - if it is anything like the used rubber roofing I use, you'll get much more than a few years - more like a lifetime if treated well and not placed directly are sharper corners, etc. Show some pics of the wood stacks covered when you are done! Cheers!
I found some big 'hunks' of it from a re-roofing job for pretty cheap, it's heavy to put it on top of my 6' double rows but works well. As heavy as it is, it still needs to be weighted or it will blow off.
Absolutely needs to be weighted - I use about 6 good sized rounds or splits to keep them from shifting in the wind. Cheers!
