Something about the brand new ones that is almost depressing to even put gas in 'em.......too nice looking! ;)

A big +1 on the muffler mod right off the start.........The new saws (all OPE for that matter) are choked down on both the intake and exhaust ends anymore......

+1 Scotty. I was also surprised at some of the older saws. My 1987 Husky 254 was choked up and had some unneeded muffler baffle system. Surgery was quickly performed with the dremel and she's breathing a lot better now.

If you want to try the numbers I'm using, or need some machine work done, give me a shout.

Looks good. I might get around to getting one this year after the milling bug is gone.

Yesir I would be interested in that. I like the idea of keeping the stratos. I've never done a strato saw at all, never even been inside one to see how they work either, so I got some investigating to do :). I was gonna hit you up on the machine work, but it sounds and looks like your pretty busy...always a good thing though:thumbs:.

You'll get caught up some one day and we can get together.:) I should just get me a small lathe....

Those little 150s look neat! I may find me one later on down the road. I've been using smaller saws more and more. Those big 80-90cc one's look cool, but they wear me out quick if that big a saw isn't needed.
I got a rear handle ms200 that's about my favorite small firewood saw...dang I love that little thing. This 261 will be next step up, then the 044, and I'm working on a 064 that I will probably keep for the bigger stuff. I've down sized my saw collection quite a bit lol.

But you have yet to try the one they call Stihl's little big saw.

Do I have to put mine in a box and send it to you? You can send it to Randy when you're done. :p
