    As of now it is 79ºF here. Tomorrow is predicted to be the same. I am betting we won't need any heat.

    Peaked in the 50s today with 31 overnight... boiler is lit once again. It's eating off the value menu tonight: ugly poplar, willow, a big punky ash round, and pine in the form of 2x4 cut offs.

    59 F now and the lady said she was cold so I set a fire. I swear the woman would freeze to death in h**l, but you have to keep them happy.

    Just loaded the oakleaf with ash and birch to fight of the cool upper 20s tonight. Back to the 50s tomorrow. Minor flooding from the rain and snow melt

    burning pine and popular. ... windows cracked and peepers are singin... but then again they love da 2 acre swamp and make me long for the end of mud season... yup drive is a mess.. ruts 2 foot deep:hair:... wife is complaining subs with 10 inches of ground clearance is bottoming out... can't fix it til it dries some... til then don't wash the cars and mud bog!:faint:

    mine are baby frogs .... they peep at night at dusk to about midnight.. sure sign of spring they come out when mud thaws

    I'm hearin' 'ya Marshel54, even though the house was at 21 (celcius), I still felt the guilt of a no burn night! Freeze in h**l they most def would! Must be some sort of post deepfreeze hangover they suffer from.
