How about it...I'm at work and it's beautiful, sunny and a tad breezy...I get home and all the clouds roll in...WTF!

New tires in the buggy today and state inspection done. Michelin Defender LTX-pricey but they last and are great in the snow. Going in on Monday for an alignment.

This weekend its time for a tranny fluid change and then rear differential (VTM system in there with clutches) over the next weekend or two. Tonight I made sure that the tranny fill bolt would break free before draining it on Saturday. It took a 1/2 drive breaker bar with an 8 inch extension to get to the fill bolt and then a long cheater bar on top of the breaker to get the mofo free, but it finally broke loose. I hope the drain plug isn't as bad from underneath. Geez, the 800lb gorillas that tighten these things need to back off a bit

We're a long ways away from seeing temps that will cause me to turn on an AC.

    Hello all! And happy spring.

I probably am just blind, but i didn't see a pellet prices thread.
Just wanted to mention that SiB (wood pellet warehouse, Jay Maine) has their spring prices up.
I just ordered my MWP blend tons for $219 each.

Yep, they do. I don't even mess with flat tires anymore. I can't get the lug nuts off. I just call AAA and let them deal with it.

I'm not sure, subsailor, but it is shown as their spring special. :)

    From the site -
    "Spring Specials are Set!
    See "Bagged Pellet Delivery"
    tab for rates
Lock in at our current rates and have your product stored inside our warehouse. Call and ask for details"

I don't know if I need to bulk up as I have 185 bags still left. Time to top off my fuel oil.

I have about that same amount left as well, but the bunker can hold 10 ton easy. :D

I always get 6 tons just because that's what he can carry on his truck, and the delivery is a flat rate.
210 bags left. Started burning early and haven't been too careful about trying to conserve.
I like it really warm for lifting weights, and my weight rack is in the stove room, so there is some extra curricular heating going on still.
At least we are done with 24/7 heating now.

I know I will. 1.5 tons of my stash are Blazers, and I won't burn that many of them in a single year. So, yeah, I will be buying more. I don't know that I want to buy tons or buy 25 bags at a time. A lot easier on the old bones that way.

It was like that yesterday rolling out to UNH - beautiful morning, get back home, starts raining.

    Welcome to Spring Steve! :singingintherain:

Snow is just about melted off the yard here, still mushy though. Cat decided it was June, and escaped outside to play in the back yard today, he was having a great time out there. Had to drag him back inside, he was resisting arrest.

    Nice! Pellet Pig.

fired mine up this evening with the ice cubes. Grandson Landon likes the fire....and his bath.......and mushed carrots...going on 8 months and working on his crawling. and standing..and putting everything in his mouth! he was eyeing up my glass of wine but grandma said NO.

had a Farmall 'C' dropped off this afternoon. needs a clutch, governor work, and probably a sleeve and piston kit. don't know what else, but the customer wants it fixed, like the cub i did for him a couple of years ago.

so now there is the Ferguson TO30 to finish for the farm, the 'C', the Farmall 450 that needs hydraulic pump work, my Oliver 70 industrial for a complete overhaul, and the Atlas to finish in the shop! gonna have to retire to have time to work on them.
