Dead ash and cedar

    Was out mending fence and couldn't help but to cut a couple dead small ash and cedars. Ash is few and far between around here so I don't pass

    I've always loved to see the grain in cedars. I also remember cutting a bunch of them into 4 x 4's when I was sawing. Aroma therapy! :thumbs: Plus it is lightwieght.

    Bugs don't like the wood but they sure do like to be in between the bark and the wood.

    I have to go back and pick up some cedar logs I cut. May try to make some posts with my Alaskan mill. These rounds will wind up as kindling
