A little trailer would go a long way, though I've hauled a fair amount of wood home in my 95 Saturn. Mostly, i use a 4'x8' harbor freight trailer pulled by a minivan. It's paid for itself. MANY times over and I haven't busted it yet. Except for the taillights .

The wife and I have hauled lots of stuff in our 96 saturn but never fire wood! Hauled lots of lumber plywood. Furniture and other stuff you would never think would go in there.

I dont think I could get enough wood in there though? A few blocks of green oak would smash that thing to the ground.

Yeah, it's not much for hauling weight, but can't complain with 275,000 miles.

Thats the reason we did not sell it like 4 years ago. Still driving it daily. I think it has like 230k on it now. It on stands right now waiting on a new heater core, the right one hopefully this time, to arrive. I am driving my 90 ranger with 298k on it.

A cord in the hand is worth two in the bush. It is good to bring home any kind of free wood. Except willow.
