    After my wife and kids left for school I put a hooded jacket on and went out to the pasture with a shovel. Dug some shallow trenches to guide the water off the pasture and outside the fence. Then went outside the fence and dug a few more to guide that water to the trenches that cross the road. A decent workout to get started on today's exercise. (I was sweating like thewoodlands watching good firewood getting punky.) :loco: :crazy:

    Any-who, it's time for a little more caffeine and then to empty/spread around another bucket of ashes onto the garden. And then clean the boiler.

    Wet and windy this morning. We were up late at a meeting so no walking this morning. Starting an online course tonight about Archives. It should be interesting. Yesterday the weather was so nice and quite the opposite today. It would be nice to get about three nice days in a row.

    Started the wall insulation of the garage and it looks like I bought too much insulation for the job...dang it! Now I'll have to go back to Menards and have the returns applied towards the ceiling insulation!
