Took it easy today compared to the past 3. Mowed. Finished a retaining wall at the in-laws. Finished sheeting the exterior of the mud room. Cooked some dinner.

    Back to work tomorrow.

Today I was worse off regarding my flu/cold thing. A big thank you to the idiot at work that came in to work and got the rest of us all sick. That's why you have sick days. At this point it makes no sense for me to waste a vacation/ sick day because everyone else is sick. Grrr

God I hope no snow for my area. I had very little meltage and any further snow removal will be by hand. Plus working 3 jobs until I leave on Thursday. I don't have time for this chit!

I read that with a cold typically a person is contagious for 5-7 days from time symptoms begin. It is tough for anyone to stay away from work for that long. Most try to stay away from work when they are at the worst but it still gets passed around before or after. :picard:

Dump run for my parents and our house today. All loaded at my parents and just visiting now. After the dump it will be doing some of the bills, a bunch of errands, laundry, shopping, etc. Get some things done for the wife while she is at work and I'm on my day off.

Got some running done this morning-not the exercise type of running, mind you.

Headed to the cottage to start insulating the garage walls! Woo hoo!

Had this great idea to go into work today and disrespect myself. Thus I'd have to give myself 3 days off for insubordination, otherwise that would be favoritism. But it looks like rain all week so I'm going to be nice to myself instead.

Well then, just pick the three days off that you want and start banking them.

Since we have rain moving in tonight and all day tomorrow, I'll be sharpening some chains I never did a couple of weeks ago.

With the rain and warm weather we'll get this week, the snow will be gone and it will open up the hills so depending on how muddy it gets my cutting can start.

We got to 63 deg this afternoon, and boy did the sun feel good while I raked the front lawn.

Fertilizer down before the rains tomorrow. Felt good to do some yard work again.
