    Me too.

    Ryzen looks to get them back in the game again. I thought that AMD was done in a few years ago and that they had given up after the Pile Driver/Bull Dozer flops. I actually bought a Socket 3 MB in hopes that the processors back then would be worthwhile but I am still using my old Phenom II quad core (465 I think?). Not sure that Ryzen will be the Pentium Killer that the K6 was but its got some good numbers that Intel should be taking notice of. :)

    That is a fourth generation I7 The 7th was tossed in the ring the first quarter of this year. It is also a DDR3 front-side system. It was a 3.4 part.

    Oh, I understand. My upgrade weakness is home audio.

    I currently have 2 subwoofers where each has 2 15" drivers per box and each has a 1700W amp. I am trying to convince myself that I NEED the newest model that has 2 18" drivers per box with the same amp optimized for the beefier drivers resulting in WAY more headroom.

    The real question is am I reaching the limits of my current subs-and will my house still be structurally sound :D

    Is that the answer to not reaching the limits of my 2 current subwoofers or if the house can withstand 2 of these bad boys :D

    Dual opposed 18" drivers in a sealed cabinet and up to 4300W in each cabinet pushing the drivers :drool:
    Pretty sure I can clear the roof of snow with these
