Well after years of effort, the shed is finally full. I thought that I would be elated and confetti would rain from the sky like I just won the Publisher's Clearinghouse. It was actually quite the opposite- I'm gonna miss filling that shed.

Thanks Eric, no confetti here, but I did throw a handfull of sawdust in the air instead. Wind blew it right back into my face and now I have pinkeye.

Thanks Mike. I casually mentioned the idea of a second shed to my wife--let me just say her response was less than encouraging.

Jim Croce say: Man who spit into wind (or throw sawdust into same) end up with pinkeye.

    Beautiful, just beautiful!

I don't know how you guys stack soooo perfectly. I get started nice and straight and then my ADHD kicks in and my row looks like an angry 40' snake with his scales ruffled!

:BrianK:You know, it may be just as satisfying empting that lovely shed. Every withdrawal from the shed is also a deposit to your bank account.

Well I forget the actual measurements, but it's slightly longer than my buddy Herb's trailer...not quite as long as my Uncle Clem's double wide, though--that thing's a beast!

Very nice and neat.Is the doors wide enough to drive a four wheeler pulling a small trailor through?

Thanks hman, the doors are not wide enough to drive through. I usually just back the golf cart up to the door, or park the tractor with the bucket--depending on what I am using to haul wood out that day.

Thank you grandgourmand, I think it will be a few years before I burn the wood in the shed. I've got next years wood already stacked in a different spot closer to the house. If all goes as planned, the shed will stay full and I will just continue to burn the dead ash that I will work on throughout the spring.
