Clearing the way for a gas pipeline. I've seen the tree service a couple of times but was on my way to an appointment so I couldn't stop. Today I did and SCORE! Four big hackberry logs for 18 Coors Light. The crew forman said its the begining of an exchange program that will make us all happy.

Tomorrow and supposedly every day the weather is good and they are in the area with large logs. That according to the crew forman.

They chip most everything that I would use for firewood, so what ever I get is going to be huge. I began cutting the 4 they dumped today.

I used my 661 with a 28" combo and had to start at the top and cut half way through then come down the other side. The biggest was 39" in diameter.

Large logs are nice to work with for the sheer amount of splits per round.

I've got some experience with large wood.
