I'm sorry for your loss. Grandma's are always special.

Must be really tough without Dad there, and now your Mom moving too. The new norm will take a while to get used to I'm sure, but don't give up on that engine yet. You may decide later that you want to get back into it.

Sorry for your loss man. All will work out. Will you be able to visit parents from time to time? Keep having a fire now and then. Even if just for the ambiance. It is very relaxing for you and your fiancé.

The 2 yo woke up @ 2:30 screaming (not crying)...took him to the clinic after a few hours. Both ears infected. Took him to the pharmacy to pick up a scrip and a wicked bad thunderstorm came through. Had to sprint to the truck carrying a toddler...then the dime sized hail came down hard.

Been a fun day so far.

Kids are home off the bus, fixed them some cheese on trisquits for a snack. Now they will do homework and practice guitar or Piano. For me it is time to bring in some more firewood while getting exercise at the same time. A little warmer out today(35), little more tomorrow(45), but then colder and going to single digits overnight Wed into Thur. I think I'll try to move a whole face cord in myself over the next hour or so, and when she gets home I'll see if I can convince the wife to make home made Skippy Joes for dinner.

While behind the Cheddar curtain this past weekend, I decided to stay on my early rise schedule instead of rolling over in bed until everyone else in the household was up.

Got up, made coffee, did my morning wash up stuff, walked out to the workshop and promptly made a fire in the wood furnace there!

99 was the next one to wake up and as soon as she saw the smoke coming form the chimney, knew exactly where I was!

    Good morning!

Yes, the westby creamery makes arguably the best curds, for straight up curd eating goodness that is.

I've had great curds from other places, but I concur, westby curds are definitely the squeakiest. Darn tasty too.

Gasifier , "emergency meat" is what you make Skippy Joe's with.:D

After eating Skippy Joe's, you have to skip to the bathroom because you don't want to run there.:jaw:

Woke up this morning with a migrane and sick. I definitely got too confident last week and thought I had missed it. Going to spend my Spring Break getting better.
