Wow!! On a KX 100!! I'm 35? So we have to be pretty close in age as well! That was when McGrath killed it!! He was my idol at that time!

And you look like you killed it as well!! AWESOME!

    This!!!

Just my .02, stay with your OEM cylinder. A lot of aftermarket stuff isn't up to snuff without modification. I've run the 261 w/ a 262 meteor and a muff mod. You'd be pleased I'm sure.

And BTW- I can set you up with a Signature so you don't have to put "30 Clip Magazine On My Ghost gun" in every post. It will just show up automatically.

No more for me lol. Got my pro license when I was 16 and shortly thereafter broke both arms at the same time. The armpump demon wouldn't leave me alone after that so I hung her up a couple years later.

It does it on its own. It's a checked box.

Im sure you both know the only difference in the 261 and 262 piston is the dished dome. My post is just to clarify this for some that may have taken these statements differently.

Here's a "husky" saw that may take a 20' bar!

A: sorry about the 20" bar thing - although it did generate a good bit of humor!

B: I thought there were two other differences between Husky 261 & 262XP besides the flat top vs domed piston:
    - three prong clutch on the 262XP vs. a two pronger on the 261
    - a different muffler on the 262XP - less restricting.

    Cheers

Since we are on the subject of mods.... I have a 460 rancher. Anyone done any pipe mods or aftermarket upgrades to this model?
