    Caffeine going down. Today will be broken up with a morning school event for the youngest one. Then all kids coming home around noon because of a half day for teacher staff development. Might be able to get a few things done around the house though.

    OK got caffeine... just cause you guys want to know.. officially according to WCAX I got 34 inches of snow in that storm... Burlington got 30.. 2nd highest on record. it stopped snowing around 2 or 7 hours ago. been out pushing back drifts helping remove snow plow (professionals) that got stuck in the driveways ... see avatar., I just want winds to go from 30 mph to 10 or less.. time for:coffee: then diesel

    Heading to the Dentist in a few. Lots of meds in system. Having the wisdom teeth out. Not very excited about,but they are not in very good shape. Have a good day everyone.

    Developed a relapse of the cold that was almost beaten out of me. Congestion runny nose some cough eyes itchy sore throat. Just pretty much la repeat of what I had before. Lucky I had the rest of the week off although I may stop in and do some billing for a short while.

    Our son is off to a friend's to play outside on his farm. Time for a walk around our property roads with the wife, the girls, and the mutleys.

    Just woke up from a nap.Feeling really good. would like to go take a walk, but my wife says no. Oral Surgeon said for a 41 year old Male this was the easiest extraction he has ever done. I explained my wisdom teeth he removed were a soft maple species.
    :D Funny thing is as long as they were in my mouth I'm not very wise.Thank you yooperdave and Gasifier .

    Went for a walk with family, then for a walk by myself through the woods. Went about 1-1/2 miles in about 12-13" of snow. thewoodlands I think your number of 11" was probably closer, somewhere near a foot. The wind probably blew more into the area of the walkway I shoveled. On the walk through the woods I would say it fluctuated between 8-20" from the wind. What a workout walking through the snow. Here's a few pics for ya.

    There is some decent water in this creek at the back of the property.

    For tomorrow I'll be moving more snow around getting ready for the big melt coming this way. I'll also be clearing out the snow by the yellow birch pile so I can start splitting it.

    We have a stretch along our driveway that will melt and then run on the driveway and then freeze at night so I'll be moving that.

    Caffeine! Kids and I all slept in. We all have the day off today. I'm hoping to do some outside work after they get up. Which I will make happen soon. They will go to their grandparents for a few hours this morning. They won't have any problem with that. Grandparents bought donuts for them! :dex:

    Sitting here at home bored. Wife tells me not to do anything so the bleeding in my mouth stops. Floyd keeps looking at me wondering what the heck I'm doing here.
