Dang it..... I'm kinda a germaphobe, next month I take a test like that to make sure my RA meds don't ruin my eyes .......How do I get that outa my head. Some things you wish you never read. Hopefully you shake it quickly this time, best wishes.
I am so sorry for giving you worries... If you have to do the dome ones, I will be asking them to wipe down the ENTIRE inside as well as the chin/forehead rest next time, as well as the obvious surfaces on a few of the others (stuff close to my nose and mouth while set in the chin/forehead thing). The big chairs we all sit in for vision testing with the horizontal steel bars and flipping lenses etc, I have no idea. I'd like to take a can of lysol to it but don't think they would appreciate it Makes one wonder if we can use a tea tree lozenge or something like that during tests, so your breath can kill any germs.
Rx meds are amazing!! Feeling better already, only 24 hours later, thanks How is the stuff you got WW? I pray it stayed a cold, did it?
Sinutab did the trick and the cold disappeared quite quickly. Unfortunately campinspecter ended up with it.
Wooops, Eye place called me back again today and I expressed my concerns. I was apologetic and the gal was also apologetic and accommidating. I explained I was not checked out properly (overcharged, not given the OTC eye ointment, and not rescheduled for the further tests), I had to turn back after 20 minutes away to get the OTC night ointment, and explained to that gal I was told to reschedule for the further tests and she said she would be in touch. Another gal called back a few weeks later and asked to put the overcharge back on my debit card, explained about the further tests and waiting to hear back after the insurance person checked on cost for me..... Today another gal and asked for a release for rheumatologist--UMMMM, I sign one everytime I go, the only reason I need special tests are because of the medicine he prescribed me and he needs to monitor it so I don't lose my ability to see. I told her I would print another release sign and mail it to them since I dont go to town often. She called back 1/2 hr later and said it appears the Dr wanted further tests after I had already told her the chain of events . So I shared I do not want to two of the tests in particular (the ones that smell like the breath of what the previous person had for lunch, and that I had multiple urgent care trips after both visits over the last couple years. She assured me they have many patients with rheumatic diseases and take similar meds and they would figure out a way to sanitize them better, AND THAT SHE WILL CALL ME BACK (just like the previous 3 gals) . SMH, consequences of living in a small town.
Another summer cold and larygitis again. Well hey, I guess I went almost 10 years, fingers crossed it doesn't last as long as the 2014 bout.
