Gave the Jeep a good workout today. Got another load of cherry with a little ash from a CL add. 0314171532.jpg

That's the way to GO MAN!! , get that :woodsign: :saw: :tree::axe::stacke:.
There is no right or wrong, but my program is, I carry my tools and saws in the back of my Jeep, the wood goes in the trailer, easy to load n unload :)

No trailer hitch on my jeep or I WOOD. Anyway if I could attach a trailer I WOOD fill the trailer and the Jeep. Empty space is wasted space to a one man show hoarder like myself. I make the best with what I got.

There is always more than one way to do it, that's absolute :)
In my experience limiting your firewood loads to a trailer and never loading your SUV is just, easier more productive more efficient.
In my opinion it's just not worth the wear and tear on the vehicle the time spent cleaning the crap out when is just so easy to clean out a trailer and so much easier physically, and so much faster to load and unload.
Again ,to each his own and you have to use what you have.
I have scrounged a lot of firewood with a car but when a car was purchased it was fitted with a trailer hitch.
If you don't have a pickup truck, get a trailer and a hitch.
It's just my opinion not at debate:salute::)

I welcome everyone's opinion on this site. I'm learning new things everyday. My Jeep is my second vehicle that I think of as my covered pickup so I'm not worried about wear on the inside. I wish I had the funds to purchase a trailer, but not in the cards right now. Anyway no hard feelings and I'm not debating. keep the suggestions coming.

That's what I'm saying, you use what you got.
There are trailers on Craigslist cheap that need work, I have even seen boat trailers on Craigslist for free, doesn't mean they aren't going to need modification time and money but, money can be spent over a period of time rather than buying a trailer out right, that's ready to go
