Local Home Depot employs this short, rotund, muscular "lady" with fake long blonde hair extensions, implants, LOTS of blue eye shadow, fake lashes and EXTREME enthusiasm with copious amounts of the cheapest perfume imaginable. Works the plumbing aisles of all places and seems to know "her" stuff when I can stand to be in the presence of it all. It takes all types of villagers to raise a Home Depot I guess.

Ok...While the photo/photo-editing was strange, it seems from Kay's public facebook page/wall that she is an upstanding citizen, newly retired (28 years) flight nurse (helicopter), equestrian, farm/ranch owner and Oklahoma citizen.

Just putting some truth out there.

I think it's..."Where the women are strong, the men good-looking and the children are all above average."

Thanks for the general lay of the land there coreboy83 !

She's probably just in great shape o_O. Probably one of those blonds that has lots of the fine blond hair on their arms and it shows off in the pic. I went to high school with some like that. We lived near the beach and the begenning and end of year you could really easily see the hair on their arms against their tanned skin.

She looks like she is a hard worker and likely knows her way around power equipment. Stihl is also a German company and maybe this is an European lady....

Strike this, women who really work will have larger veins in their hands as well. When Mum was in hospital once, I was there and the woman working on inserting a "what's it; can recall what they are called at the moment" stated that she knew Mum worked because of the good veins in her hands. Mum grew up working on a farm and she worked until the day she got sick. Larger veins is a good thing because it indicates a healthy cardiovascular system that can get blood to the parts of the body where it is needed. The reason so many women have skinny arms and legs; in other words, pour muscular tone, is because they don't really exercise or work. Look at the legs of women cyclists, they are not skinny; the same for women that work lifting, they won't have skinny arms; they won't be like a man's arms but they will be more muscular. Now of course there are women weightlifters that take testosterone and they are stupid; one side effect is that it will increase the hair on the body; it can also cause other problems such as heart issues. However, I am probably getting off the subject.

shoulder pads? I remember cutting those stupid things out of a lot of garments; whoever in their right mind would think a woman would look good with padded shoulders?

This has become the "Amazon Woman" thread...

I had to look up shoulder pads, seems they originated back in 1931. Oh well, and they are still around I think. I haven't brought any new clothes in a long time.

They are definitely still around. Even my rather conservative wife has some outfits with small shoulder pads built in. I have no idea why.
