    After hauling wood all day yesterday from two areas, and making the final run home (and exhausted), I found two red maples dropped by tree service right across the road from my processing area. Oh well - grabbed the saw, walked across the street and bucked them up and hauled them home. Phew - I think this should do it for a while!! (but probably not!) Cheers!

    Hmmmmm........perhaps you are onto something! I have a hard time parting with even a dollar on the lottery though - prefer sure things! But........if I do and win, you'll get a good chunk for the suggestion! Cheers!

    I really like soft maple - puts out plenty of good heat, dries relatively fast, usually splits easy - what's not to like! Cheers!
