Woodstock Soapstone Stove Started creeping my Craigslist and found this Woodstock. I'm gonna call on it in the morning, but can any of the experts on here identify what model it is?

That is a Woodstock " Classic ". Might need a new baffle and cat. Converter. They tended to erode and burn thru. Open side door and check. Kit for it costs around. 300.. if so offer 800. If not offer 1000. Not 1200... IDK. Prob needs a new cat. anyway. Happy trails
Yes, that is a Classic. Most of those you find for sale are the older type and you can tell by looking to see if they have a draft on the firebox door. Personally if it does, I'd probably stay away from it although many have bought them and are happy with them. If it needs some rebuilding you could also take it or send it direct to Woodstock and they will refurbish the stove at a reasonable cost. You can also look at the stove then call Woodstock to ask questions about it. If in doubt of any parts, take some pictures. Open the top lid to look at the catalyst but I'd expect that to be shot.
