Storm prep here this afternoon too. At least we have daylight to almost 7pm. I see the totals got bumped up. 2-4" inches an hour.
Mike you are lookin pretty good, boots dry and warm ...check.. wood at the ready ..check.. can I safely assume you after adult beverages are available also?
Just began snowing in Northern Kentucky, the first of the winter. Only a couple of inches predicted, nothing compaired to what some of you kids are going to get hit with. Gas up the generators, stack some extra wood in the house or on the porch and may the force be with you!
I tidied up my rubber stack covers a bit so we're ready. Depending on who ya listen to we are expecting 12-24". I just want to get it over with. Boss text'd me to say he closing the shop tomorrow, so we can sit back and enjoy a family day off.
Snowblower was fired up just to remind it that it's still winter. Gas tank topped off. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
Ok so you got a splitter in the house??!??! That there is on my top ten, i am now in heated negotiations with the boss lady as to where I'm gonna put mine..... she's not to happy with you by the way......
12"-20" coming to Maine tomorrow riding on the wind. Nice that all of the heavy snow on roofs is gone now so... should be OK for folks across the state. Batten them hatches...
Wood is covered, gas in the blower, couple stogies and adult beverages ready.. Just need to fab up a couple quick ramps to get the snowblower into the truck so I can go clean up mom's driveway.. Left mine at grandpa's house after the red maple hoard was finished up, as he said he had a couple spare 2x12s ready to slot in to replace my old cracking boards.
I saw someone at the grocery store today stuffing his SUV with 2 cases of Duraflames and at least 6 bags of the $8.99 firewood. Cracked me up as it was just after I had brought in a few wheelbarrows of wood, from a log load delivered for free 3+ years ago.
Calling for 20+ here in NW CT. Gas for generators in stock and plenty of wood to burn. No work for me either. Nice to see my organization make a logical decision for a change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
