It looks like bike riding weather has gone away for the next day or two. I am just slightly north of the DEC location on this map. I expect to see the snow start in about another hour.

I watched a little bit of weather last night before bed and it seemed that the snow would be stopping right around the Wis/U.P. border...isn't that thoughtful of them??!!!!!!!!!

Mid single digits now...dark, don't know if it snowing or not.

10 deg. here today and Oak & Maple are leading the counter attack, driving the cold out of the house to the woods where it belongs. Folks south of us down Boston way are preparing for Nuclear war, I mean snow. Not a jug of milk or loaf of bread is to be found, I guess they have magical melting powers that melt the snow away. Tomorrow is voting day in NH, (town and school budgets) and it still goes on snow or no snow. I plan on going over to vote when the snow is at it's absolute worst. Cause I can. All you New Englanders enjoy the wonderful gift of a nor'easter up here, for it all too soon shall be gone.

A couple inches of snow here in the Lou. Burning some maple right now. Shout out to all the hoarders in the northeast. National news here is calling for 2 feet of snow up there. Be careful and stay warm.

Still chilly around here for now, -25 C wind chill feels -34 C. That's -13 F feels -29 F. Poplar and random chunk of willow chasing the cold away.

Heres a few pics I took today NH mountain man . The one along the side of the house was taken a few days ago. It will be awhile before I can drive on any of the bush roads to get firewood.

The temps made it all the way down to -2 this morning. That's when I remembered to check anyway.
Yeah, we got some snow too, just flurries and a few squalls (short lived) but still, I had to shovel once I got home.

NH mountain man, Bernie Rayno is the cats meow when it comes to weather forecasting. He uses the models as only tools, and sticks to old school meteorology. thewoodlands turned me on to him years ago, and he's my go to resource for big weather! The latest video a couple hours ago......
Epic snowstorm for some on the way

    28ºF Outside.
a 1/2 a stove of oak coals. Small load of pine and see if we can burn some of those off before 9PM.
Must be expecting more rain and a more western track, snow accumulations guess is down to 3-5 inches.
    Screen Shot 2017-03-13 at 7.12.36 PM.png
Course, the guessing never ends and could change again in a couple of hours.
