Old growth Douglas Fir at lakeside. Three more old growth Firs! Different perspective. This old fir would be ready firewood but a Hoarders worst nightmare as it's a mile from the road! Woodwidow & Campinspecter! The Cricket was cold so she came to Woodwidow for a warm up! Treat time; left to right Cricket, Shadow, Rascal & campinspecter. Got a picture of Rascal's pump fake and missed the jump! Beta, our daughter's Novia Scotia Duck Toller Retriever is waiting for another stick to be thrown. Rascal felt that the rock was as far as he was going to go for the last one!
Careful cutting trees down with the little dogs around....(To me they are all little dogs)...Just don't let them get hurt....
Lovely looking couple! I'm a bit surprised as I expected a little bit more moss on those trees. As for that dead tree, just throw it up on your shoulders and carry it out!
This is a very healthy stand of old growth! This is the fish bearing stream that passes through the stand so these tree will never be logged and must remain intact as shade trees!
