My neighbor had an EF-0 tornado pass through his property last week. Thank God there was no damage to his house, but his barn was destroyed. There was damage to a couple of outbuildings as well. Several large oak trees were blown down, and he offered me the big pieces that he didn't want. There are probably 2 more loads like this that I still need to get... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Big tractor and loader. A couple of the big pieces had the tractor's rear tires just kissing the ground. Those are up front. The ones that are still over there are a little smaller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll do that with smaller chunks. In fact, that is my usual loading method. I much prefer the tractor or skid loader though. So does my back! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you had to lift those huge rounds that high up, the guy in the pic would be carrying two of those balls after the loading was done!
Sweet! Happy for you that you had the tractor to do the lifting. Unloading is usually not so big of a problem! But that is really some great firewood.
