Yep I do not blame you Screwloose. People making things worse and then asking you to bail them out. It is kind of like cleaning up someone else's mess.
Well on the bright side at least it was a white ranger! Too soon? Nothing you can do I have had similar situations a few times... I cut for the Villiage when needed and there have been more than one instance where people have smashed houses, cars and sheds. The worst was a tree that a drunk guy layed over two cars his and the neighbors! Hopefully the son replaces there vehicle!
Oh I can relate. You should see some of the stuff that has come to my shop, I've removed more broken "easy out's" .......
