Liking mine so far. First time I used it. Mounting it to wood would work way better. [IMG]

I like what I am seeing but my question for you is would you put real money into it as an investment? I have some money that I could invest but not just as a favor to the inventor. If I drop serious change into a new startup business, I would want a reasonable expectation for a good payoff. I know the original cracker did not get much in sales until the price dropped a lot so how does this new one measure up? Will it be not only a good product but also profitable to the startup investors? If it will be profitable I would love to help with senior financing but I am not a pure hearted philanthropist. I am a practical guy with a need for my investments to pay off in my IRA.

My wife got me this for Christmas also. Pricey but much easier and SAFER to make kindling. Insert split, tap, then smash! I love it and it will last for a long time

Boy this sounds better than giving my daughter an axe or hatchet later. Looks really stable from the video. I could probably find a couple wide blocks to make a pedestal for this. Screw or bolt them together and let her chop kindling all night while the fire rolls. I'd be making the pedestal so its easier to carry and put away rather than leave it on a stump block.

Although the Cracker isn't as fast as a hatchet, it is far safer, for me anyways. As far as the price goes, my emergency room copay is $125 and I have a history of lighting the stove after a couple drinks, so it will pay for itself in that respect.
