Got a load today less than 2 miles from house. Here are the ad pictures.

Did not get the past piece due to running out of mix and energy.

Left behind a nice pile of mulch or maybe it's even compostable.

Nice score. I troll CL for free wood all the time and I'm not sure why. I have a Honda Accord for over the road travel and although I have carried some wood in the trunk, I need the car to commute a 100+ miles.
I'd love to have p/u again to take advantage of the free stuff.

Emailed the poster. Told him if he wanted to meet and help stand it up, I would finish the job.

Great find and close to the house is a major plus.

Although a little cold and windy, it was the perfect weekend to yank 10 loads out that I had cut in February. It didn't hurt that the kids are in a lull between sports schedules.

Yup. Today was a cold start, but full sun warmed the day up. Nice day to be outside, IMO.

The guy had been posting it for weeks. Looking at the cuts and sawdust, I'm guessing he was working (very poorly) on it himself. I may quiz him if he replies to my offer to get the last piece. Going to burn great in a few years and no rot.

The liftgate you have sure did come in handy for those pieces, no? Nice!

Used it 3 times. Just lifted most of the pieces. Needed a good workout.

nice score! My first CL score was about 4 cords of Red Oak about 2 miles from my house, and I could pull right up to the downed trees to buck and load. Totally spoiled me, I thought the last one was gonna kill me. Down a small hill along the house, then over a 3' retaining wall and down an embankment to about 2+ cords worth of Locust.
