There has been much talk about electric bills in another thread and since my wife and I were just talking about our bill I thought I'd just go ahead and show it to you good folks. February is a short month but it is a pleasure getting one this low with today's prices.

I will add that we have LP for heating water and cooking. We do have an electric dryer and of course, the water pump as we have no city hookups here. There is some television time on here because I watched the super bowl but tv has not been on since. Wife also has a heater in the outdoor bird bath but I don't know off hand how much that takes.

    That's great Dennis!
Except for heat, we're all electric on stove/DWH & W/D and my wife literally loves her tv ( :headbang: ), but we average $80-90 during the winter months....

Oh yeah. She keeps in practice and has enough ammo to do the task nicely.

We used 1361 KWH and paid $190.27. That covers the cost of my son and his family upstairs and my wife and I downstairs. two stoves, dryers etc. No electric hot water. I have LED lights in every everyplace that will accommodate them. High cost of electricity is one of the major reasons Maine's industry is hard pressed to be able to grow.

My wife was just complaining that ours was over $100 again here in the dead of winter. (No ACs running)

Right where I want to be.
Not to gloat or anything (ahem), but we were at 385 last month. Elec, dryer, and stove/oven. FIL staying with us which equates to a lot of laundry, so the dryer really gets a workout (so does the meter can).
W/O him being here, use would be closer to 300. I figure 1/4-1/3 or more is due to the dryer alone.

GO LED with those grow lights! This will be my first year with LED grow lights for my seedlings. (vegetables and annuals) No pot, however, if I were into that, I would use them for that also.

Ours runs around 90$ a month.
    We're all electric except HHO.

I have a separate 200 amp service to the garage, it's 25$ a month. Minimum

I've always wondered why people need 200A panels in a house...I have 100A panel and the grudge runs off that too (air compressor, welder, etc) never any issues. But apparently somma y'all have 200A panels and need em! :jaw: :bug:
