Brought home old again today, got this load and loaded a fried s trailer. We got about a cord of maple and oak bucked up and in his trailer. But didnt get a picture of his load. The load in the picture is mostly black walnut, with some cherry and a few really nice sized white and red oak logs. The one black walnut was really tricky to drop, triple trunk and had to drop all three separate but the were all growing against each other. Had to plunge cut the backs to drop them.

Surely you can put it on CL and get such a windfall that the G2G can be funded all expenses paid, charter jets, limos, for all who attend.

Oh at least. chit, I would give him two, count them, two really good kegs of Canadian beer. And help him drink one of them. We could share that one with a few of you guys as well. What do you say swags? My back yard sometime this week? ;lol

Well more of the story is told with that picture.
I wondered how you got 2 big trailer loads & were home before dark,
    Now I know ....... LOL
Hydraulic loading. SWEET ! (You are Spoiled, but Smart , Way easy on the back ) :)

Plus his trailer is what, 3000 lb max.
    Less than 1/2 of yours.

    Still a days work,
    Thanks for the great pictures.

    Great score !!

His trailer is rated at 3500 and we were defintaelty over today, didn't realize how much weight was in it until I was following him home. But he only lived a few miles away. So easy drive home.

And yes hydrolics are SAWEET for this work. Went into the swamp and drug the logs out to buck them up then loaded rounds into the bucket and dumped into the trailer. It's almost cheating but wow does that make work go faster.

Once his was home and unloaded we went back to my house and unloaded mine. Used the tractor to drag the logs off the trailer and then put them on the forks and piled them up. I'm hoping to get another 2-3 loads like this to stack up for the G2G.

Looks like a good day Swags. It crossed my mind a couple times on Thursday and Friday to get a hold of you and take you up on your offer to cut, just so I could get the saw out. Had to switch gears today away from wood and put brakes on the wife's car and round up some stuff to work on a task at my MIL's house. By late next week we are supposed to get a warm up so I should be able to get back in the woods around here. I like being able to cut a little closer to home but several times I've thought about what a stand up guy you are to offer several members to come and cut.

Yea, I went to the dual axle 7,000 for that reason. Single axle & green wood, dont' take much to be over loaded.
Tires look a little flat with 60 PSI & axle looks bowed out a little, stop loading LOL :)

Did that a few times, use ATV to pull the logs off, hurry back for another load before it was all gone, They had a excavator loading up trailers. Was sweet.
Last load, I pulled & cut off the end of the trailer, much easier.

Turning into a great score, eh ?
    Keep the pictures coming :)
