I saw a Makita 4300 at Home Depot today on the clearance rental table. It had 01/2015 mfg tag on it. I didn't love the price so I talked to the guy in rental to see if he would go lower. He told me they couldn't because they just put it out. I told him I wanted to pay closer to $150 and he told me he couldn't do it. So I stuck to my guns and walked away. But I'm still thinking about it. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow.
Plastics are perfect, Bar is hardly used it is definitely a very low hour unit. The bottom of the case did have some paint scraped off of it though. I am just thinking that I have seen them $300 new and I didn't think that was a good enough deal especially because I was going to have to pay tax on top.
I just looked on hd's site and they do have one an hour from me listed for $158. Maybe I can use that to get them down. It would look perfect next to my 6421.
