Off Topic, the old scales had or have been weighing us at different weights each day, one day I'd be 206 and the next 211 :zip: so we bought a new scale and then I grabbed two weights that weighed 8.8 pounds per. We put it on the old scale, it weighed over 20 lbs and then we put it on the new scale, 17.6 on the nose. I weighed in on the new scale at 205 the other morning so things are still "GOODER".

I'm doing three 20 minute workouts a week on the treadmill so it seems to be working.

Good deal. Every other day would get you one more workout in 14 day period. Every little bit adds up. Always good to have a rest day in between from same type of work out, and use different muscles for different work on those days off.

Let me know what you think of PlayStation Vue. Especially coming from U-verse. Did you have a DVR previously? I'm curious about the cloud type " DVR" with Vue.

Yes I had a dvr Horkn. So far it's been great. No buffering at all and I have slow 12 mbps Internet service with 2 devices streaming on it. Haven't used the dvr yet. Alot less channels than u verse, but alot less money. I'm on the 35$ package.

We gave up cable years ago. I have a long range antenna on the roof cost was $124 to buy everything and install it 7 years ago, $20 a month internet, Netflix 7.99 a month and Amazon Prime which has way more than just tv.. Free 2 day shipping, streaming Tv, Movies, Music, ebooks, audiobooks, pantry credits, photo storage and more...

It was the best move we ever made. Under $500 a year for everything is a pretty good deal.

When we had cable it was $$80 a month no internet included due to where we live that was another $39 and all we had was 25 channels and 13 local channels that we can get on an antenna. That was $1428 a year.

Here's the kicker our antenna has always pulled in over 30 channels since the digital switch we have 42 channels.

Wow... What a week it was the last two days I felt zombie like...But After about 12 hours in the bed, I almost feel human again. With this coffee, I think I will... With my schedule the last two weeks and back to odd night shift, sleep was just not there... And I don't deal well without sleep... So naps will be included in my schedule this weekend...

We're taking a load of goats to the salebarn in Colfax this morning. If we have time, I might stop at the tractor salvage yard and just wander around down the rows for a while. That's quality Saturday afternoon entertainment for me.

Been thinking about doing something similar. Paying right around $130 for cable (that we watch about 12 channels of, including the big 3) and includes 10mbps Internet.

Looking at going to Vue (because it offers NBC sports channel = Formula 1 coverage). $30 for vue and $40 for 10mbps stand alone internet equals $60 savings while only missing one channel we watch routinely.

The cloud based Dvr is critical to me so I hope you have good luck with it.

Bank and lumber yard run earlier today. Got the dogs out to the wood lot to run while I split some elm.

Finished out a face chord worth today.

Think I will start on some more Hackberry to make room to start stacking the rest of my elm/ash.

Made some chocolate, mint and vanilla chip cookies for my aunt who is a big chocolate cookie fan. We're going out to dinner tonight with my mother, cousin and my aunt. Should be fun.

I just took inventory on the canned food. 12 quarts of chicken stock with veg and beef stew consumed. 8 quarts left. 2 quarts of my wife's spaghetti sauce left.

I'm not crazy about canned chicken. It seems a bit rubbery and it has that canned soup flavor. This fall I will can the stock with vegetables and portion out the meat in the freezer to add. I do like the canned beef stew and stock. A few minutes on the stove add noodles and ready to go.

I have beef stew on the stove now and the stove is nicely rolling along. Moderate winds now and we should see single digits tonight. The wind is pulling a hard draft. Even with the stove closed down, it needs reloads sooner.
