Got some Maple today

    Got a call this morning and was asked if I waned some Maple that was cut down yesterday. This is what I found 20170227_101655.jpg The first load was mostly limbs 20170227_104837.jpg
    The second load was much bigger needed to noodle a few of the rounds to get them loaded

    Good score there. That should dry fast and be ready by 18-19 wood burning season if not before:axe::stacke:

    The way the weather around here is going it will be for the 18- 19 season. They are calling for 70* Wednesday.

    Yes by the looks of the bark it does appear to be Norway maple. It should make some good firewood.
