I got a price quote today from my local dealer for a new 362 cm with a 18" b&c for $667. Does that sound like a reasonable price?
Last week my dealer quoted me a new Husky 555 for around $750, so it seems like a pretty decent price for a Stihl, considering the 555 isn't considered a "true" pro saw like the 362. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
That husky 555 quote is ridiculous. I paid much less than that for mine. If I recall, it was mid to low $500 range.
Well not to distract too much from the original question about the stihl, but I thought it seemed $75-$100 too high for a 555, higher than MSRP on the husky site. I just hadn't got around to asking anyone's opinion yet. I want to support the local guy, but if the price is too far out of whack I may be supporting a local guy in upstate New York instead. He is well respected over at arboristsite. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
That price is pretty good if it's brand new. I got a new "demo" 362 cm for $579 plus tax. With warranty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
