I inherited my fathers Echo. I have a 610 and my brother has a 500. Not sure the age but Im pretty sure its at least 20 years old. My problem is i cant find a replacement filter for it anywhere. Im finding filters for everything but the 610. Really hope someone could help me out because I would much rather continue using this saw instead of buying new.

130300-16132 is the part number you need, let me check my stash of Echo air filters.

No luck here, I guess keep an eye out on the bay, parts for those saws are getting hard enough to find that a lot of them get parted out on there.

If you get bored while waiting for one to turn up and have the old one, you can use pantyhose material to cover the old filter frame.

I do know of a guy that had a 610 and needed (3) AV buffers and an AF. He called over 100 dealers before he had all of them.

The problem with these is that the 610 is a pretty unique model and doesn't share much with the other EVL saws. Hence parts can be tough. Try finding yellow 610 parts....

Hello, I applaud you wholeheartedly for wanting to keep using your dad's saw. I have many special tools myself. That said could you possibly post some pictures of the existing filter and the cavity that it fits ? Since this is a functional application and not a authenticity related one I am proposing that a adapter frame is machined/fabricated that will allow a current production filter to be used.
